I wouldn't say I get scared as such, but yeah I too often jump at parts that are designed specifically to make you jump. It's cheap but effective, and admittedly why I enjoy the Paranormal Activity films for example.

I can't recall many times I've been genuinely scared though, one that does spring to mind is in the original version of The Ring - (SPOILER)when she comes out of the well and through the TV at the end scared the pants off me.
