Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
Draw. Gotta save those items for when you really need them.
I'd draw. Honestly, I'm surprised I never messed with refining that much. I feel like the only time I ever refined was to get a bunch of Auras. I'd also refine to get a bunch of megalixers. 99 auras + 99 megalixers = extremely easy final boss fight.
I drew from enemies and draw points I could find.
I generally start off the game by drawing 100 of everything useful for everyone, but later on it becomes predominantly refining. However, I'm playing differently right now (LOTS of Triple Triad in the beginning and minimal leveling), so I don't have the spells I normally would this early (-agas, Flare and Holy from Diablos, etc.)...but as soon as Quezy learns Card Mod, I have over 300 cards ready to be turned into gamebreaking spells.

Anyway, I draw a tiny bit before I get access to the first refinement skill. After that, only when I find really rare spells, like ultima.

I draw a little and rarely ever refine. I don't see the need to do any more.
I'm refining all these answers and turning them into 100 draw points.

-draw points rock
-keep your items
-keep your rare cards

Draw. I refine cards often if I have more than one of them. Refining all the character cards at the end for the Sorceress battles physically hurt me.

The Queen of Cards is at the Escape Pod south of Esthar on Disk 4.
The CC Club is also aboard the Ragnarok and you can get all your refined and unacquired cards from them as well.
