Do you ever think that you that you could have been really great at something if you'd been exposed to it at a younger age? Some thing that you never tried that you might have had a natural aptitude for?

For all I know, I could have potentially been the greatest baseball player of all time. However, growing up in England I've never played a game of baseball in my entire life even though I love the sport. Or maybe I could have set a speed record for making crocheted bobble hats... who knows?

So what do you think you might have been amazing at given the chance?

Cooking. My mom was usually more of a hamburger helper kind of mom so I didn't have a big influence on creativity there, but I'm working on it now. I'm a pretty good cook

Maybe possibly potentially acting. I was exposed to and involved with local theater and productions quite a bit growing up, and my father was pretty well-known within the theater community. My very first audition ever I got only by the chance that the director knew my father. But my mother resented the fact that it took so much of his time away, and when they divorced I was forbidden from pursuing it.

I think that if I had a true chance I might have done alright at it. But it was a dream I more or less had to throw out the window by age twelve, so c'est la vie.

Playing piano. My parents didn't want to pay for lessons so now I'm just playing things by ear or making trout up as I go. It's a lot harder to learn things the older you get. I was however exposed to ballet and tap dancing which I quickly discovered I had no passion for and sucked at. Ha! xD

I really wish I'd stuck with things I started.

Like swimming. I did it for 10 years, but got tired of it and quit.. I -really- wish I hadn't. And piano lessons, but the only reason I quit was because my teacher moved and I really liked her. Got tired of private art classes. And gymnastics I wanted to keep on with, but the gym I was taking classes at ended up being too hard for anyone to get me to what with my mom's work schedule and my sister being off in college.

i really enjoy it, both as a exercise and as a competitive sport. If I had been exposed to it at 8 years old, maybe I wouldn't have been that "fat unathletic kid" in class for my entire life. The only real options where I grew up were skiing or football. I hate skiing and I dislike team sports. Fighting, however, fills me with a lot of excitement, and I definitely see it as something I could have stuck with.

I really envy the younger members of my current club, seeing them as skilled as i am, while at the same time being nearly 20 years younger than me.

Nothing really comes to mind. I'm lucky that I found out I had a talent for writing as young as I did.

It might have been fun to try my hand at stunt work, distance shooting, and minimalist camping/outdoors stuff.

At least camping isn't out of the picture, but I think I would have made a pretty good "scientist-in-the-field" and I've always enjoyed documentaries. I watched so many when I was younger.
