(SPOILER) I always want to see the War of Transgression. How Vanille and Fang story before they became l'Cie until they are getting involved in the War of Transgression and how they ended up in crystal. I think that would be interesting.

I think it should star Serah again, like XIII-2, but have the battle system of Lightning Returns.

Agreed. Even LR fans would probably be annoyed if they brought out another sequel.

...wouldn't be against a prequel, provided it was done well and was an enjoyable game. And, naturally, XV's release date wasn't impacted by it.

I don't think it'd happen right now if it did. I think XIII will gain a cult following like all the FF's have and over time they might consider it. Probably a mobile game released exclusively in Japan. It'll be about Lightning's rise through the soldier ranks, and probably childhood too.

They'll probably take a break from it, but I think they might just get back to it in a few years.
