I heard this on NPR today. Apparently it was like this for a while now. So its not like the kids feel like they're missing out. Obviously they weren't watching very many Saturday morning cartoons anyway. It just feels bad to those of us who grew up with it, but then again, none of us were currently watching Saturday morning cartoons either. So in actually they've been kinda dead already for a long time :/

But then again, I'm all about nostalgia. I have tons of old cartoons downloaded and on DVD and favorited on services like Netflix and Amazon Instant Video :3

Not to mention some of the best cartoons didn't even come out until I was grown up, and still managed to enjoy them (Invader Zim, and Avatar: The Last Airbender to name a couple)
