The Lady of Frost Preview - Final Fantasy XIV

As well as Ultros news, today has brought more Patch 2.4 secrets in the form of Primal quest details. The Lady of Frost herself, Shiva, has been a much anticipated primal for the game. She will be making her grand debut in Patch 2.4 - Dreams of Ice, very soon. Over at The Lodestone they're dropping previews left, right, and centre in the run up to the patch going live.

The barren hills and icy peaks of Coerthas play host to countless battles in the never-ending war between the nation of Ishgard and the Dravanian horde. As their age-old struggle wages on, a new threat has emerged: the primal Shiva, Lady of Frost. Who has summoned her, and how will the Warriors of Light stand against this mighty maiden of ice?

• "Instruments of our Deliverance" quest

• 60 minutes
• "Drop Dead Shiva" quest
• Must have also completed The Striking Tree (Extreme) and the quest 'Let Us Cling Together'

There is still no battle preview video yet, but I've got a feeling we could see one in the next few days if we're lucky. They are really laying it on thick for Dreams of Ice, that's for sure. I can only hope the new content delivers.
