Available from November 14th, the special 'Game of the Year' edition of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will feature 90 days subscription to the game, five art cards, and it will come in a printed Book of Diamonds Grimoire box. Pretty fancy.

A list of all the content is shown on the right of the image. Listed are the previous patches including Through the Maelstrom and Defenders of Eorzea. What is also listed is Patch 2.4 - Dreams of Ice which of course means that the patch could drop with the release of the Game of the Year edition of Final Fantasy XIV. Of course it could also mean that the patch could come BEFORE this release, but so far this is the only clue we've had from Square Enix.

Expected content from Patch 2.4 includes;

• Shiva Primal
• Chocobo Racing and Triple Triad
• Rogue/Ninja
• Ultros and Typhon Hildebrand Quest
• Marriages
• 3 New Dungeons
• Fenrir

Whatever happens, it doesn't seem like it will be long until the Dreams of Ice become a reality - and I can't wait! Hurry up Square Enix!!

All those people hoping for 2.4 just after the FanFest will be gutted. xD I hope it's a bit before then, but I suspect we'll find out pretty soon.

Timing wise for me, November is pretty much the worst time they could deploy it with things like Warlords of Draenor, Dragon Age Inquisition and the new Assassin's Creed all coming out over a 3 week period in that month.

I actually fully expect 2.4 to be deployed sometime between the US Fan Fest and the UK Fan Fest, and at the very latest, the Tuesday immediately following the UK Fan Fest. I suspect we'll get the patch trailer at the US Fan Fest. They've been ramping up the Lodestone posts recently which they usually do a couple of weeks prior to a patch going live.

Any word on the price? If it's around £30 or so then it's well worth it because of the 90 days subscritption
