FFXII on Steam?

So I've been playing the Steam version of FFXIII and I'm pretty happy with it, so I thought, you know what would be awesome? If we got XII on Steam! Better yet, if it was the Zodiac Job system version!

What do you guys think? Would you want it? Do you think it's possible? I think I heard SE say they want all FFs to eventually make it to PC, so perhaps that time is near, what with the entire XIII trilogy being confirmed for Steam?

This would be delightful considering it's the best FF since the days of the original Playstation. I'd like to play it again and it would save me having to dig out the PS2.

Our PS2 has power issues and is completely untrustworthy, so I would love this. It's a game I haven't given a fair shake yet, I wouldn't mind trying it again, with a more open mind and hopefully I can plow through the beginning so Vaan doesn't ruin the experience for me again. At the very least, I would give them their money for this, as opposed to me skipping out on XIII. Again.

IDK why this hasn't happened. I'm guessing they may be waiting for a console rerelease (IZJS? ) & then do this as well.

Well, I, II, V, VI and IX still don't have a Steam release either. Here's hoping they'll all be coming soon.

III got released on Steam before the original? That's surprising to me.

III had the huge DS update. The game is very different, @ least superficially, than the Famicom version. It also benefits from not being already available on a million platforms.

Seems like they'll release X on PC before XII. Probably

Seeing they've already had the rerelease, I agree. I'll give them letting Sony have an exclusive on the HD Remastered versions for a year, then they'll be online.
