I don't have the money to pick it up yet, but I've been watching some people play it on Twitch. Anyone here playing? If so, what do you think?

I like the concept. I'm just not a fan of the top down, almost stick-figure like perspective.
I've clocked 22 hours since friday.

I will be very shortly. I have almost 1000 hours in Civ 5. I can't wait for this
Have been playing it. And enjoying it.
Trade routes seem rather . . . ridiculous right now. They are strong enough that people are successfully city spamming hard early on without regard to colony health just to get more routes. :o
Anything else you guys have seen or are trying that is crazy powerful or amusing at the moment?
I always find it really easy to gain tons of energy.
but yeah, trade routes are a bit OP.
Game is also a bit buggy. One of the civs started asking for open borders every 5 turns in my last game, and sometimes I will get a "continue trade deal" request that only displays a completely empty trade window where i can't add resources, and also can't accept the empty trade because there's nothing in it. The only option is to reject it, and then afterwards I would get a notice saying which deal it was that was supposed to be shown there, because i see it being cancelled.

Anyone still playing it? I just got it for free with my new video card and was wondering if I should keep the key or sell it. Haven't played Civ V but I really liked Civ III and IV.
I'm back to Civ for the time being but, I'd keep the key. Once some DLC hits it'll start getting really good.
I'd keep the key too. It's definitely the best game you could get for free today

Decent game; I prefer SMAC and Civ IV but this is still pretty fun. Not really playing it right now though.
Not personally into civ games but I think if I were to test drive one it'd be this one. I like the idea. Sci fi frontier days
