One question though, can we change the characters and the playable charater when in the battle, or can only change before the battle initiate?

If I remember rightly from the demo you choose 3 characters before the mission commences, and those are the 3 characters that you use until one of them dies. Once one of them dies (either by being killed by the enemy or sacrificing themselves to summon) then you can choose to replace them with any of the other 11 party members in your reserve. And yes you can switch between all 3 active characters by selecting them on the d pad I believe. So technically it's possible to play a mission using every single character

Wait, the summon feature is a bit different than the previous Final Fantasy like X, XII and XIII? I mean in X, XII and XIII the summon fight alongside the playable character. How the summon feature works in Final Fantasy Type-0? Will we control the summon until the time runs out? Or until the summon ran out HP?
