To celebrate the opening of Paris Games Week, Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD! The new trailer, titled "Enter the Fray", showcases the four nations of Orience: the Dominion of Rubrum, the Militesi Empire, the Kingdom of Concordia and the Lorican Alliance.
In an interview with Polygon, producer Hajime Tabata recently stated that Type-0 is an effort for Square Enix to make "something for adults". This trailer conveys that really well, as we open up to a scene of a bloodied man crying next to a fallen chocobo!
Tabata continues, "If you're hit by fire, you burn. If you're cut, you bleed. It's approaching those realistic type of expressions within the Final Fantasy world atmosphere ... It's more of a realistic blow vs. just scraping away HP."
