A bit dissapointed

It's one of my bottom five FFs. I'm totally with you on pretty much everything you said.

I admit it. I'm one of those annoying bastards who overhype this game. Part of that is just for fun. Part of it is that I genuinely enjoyed the smurf out of this game back in the day. It still has some of the best music, and I still love the characters. I doubt there will ever be a cast I love as much as FFVI's. The gameplay doesn't stack up compared to a lot of other FF's that came after, but for the time it was near perfect (imo).

Has EoFF ever charted everyone's first FF vs. their favorite FF? I'd love to see a spreadsheet on EoFF favorites vs. EoFF firsts. Why hasn't BoB done this? FFVI was the first FF for a lot of people, and FFVII likewise was a first for a lot of people, so a lot of a lot of people have special memories of those games.

In the end, you shouldn't feel bad, shion, or you either BoB, for having a horrible wrong opinion of a great game. It's not your fault.
