Thread: Chun-Li's only appearance in a Squaresoft game

Default Chun-Li's only appearance in a Squaresoft game

    (Fast forward to 1:14.)

You don't see a lot of Qipao outfits in Square's games.

Technically this is a Capcom game but the fact remains that they worked with Squaresoft to translate/distribute the first game in the US, as the unspeakably bad chop job on the second game's translation shows, unfortunately.

What do you think? Would you like to see Chun Li in a modern Square-Enix game, or is this a bit of a stretch?

Lenna's Monk outfit in FFV is pretty similar to Chun-Li!

    So it is.

You are now imagining Tifa Lockhart in a Qipao.

    You're welcome.

So, I literally just picked up playing Chun-Li in Street Fighter Alpha 2 today.

Not exactly relevant, I just found the coincidence amusing.

Anyway, I feel like Square Enix vs Capcom would be a pretty cool crossover, if done right. Alternatively, an RPG in the vein of Project X Zone could also be cool

Breath of Fire is a Capcom game, but Squaresoft translated it for them when Capcom refused to do it themselves.
Xenogears is the tragic story of how your whole life can take a crappy turn, just because you happened to see a lady in a wedding dress before her wedding.

Is there an echo in here?
