Reddit, it was just painful, and if I didn't know any better, the Final Fantasy community there would have put me off Final Fantasy for being filled with 15 year old angry American teenagers who think down-voting you anonymously justifies their opinion. I also played Assassin's Creed: Unity, and almost cried at the amount of bugs I witnessed on every single level.

what were you thinking

I was thinking that linking to published studies and meta analyses and university materials would make people think "Oh, I misunderstood that," but, alas...

This one guy... I sent him a "let me Google that for you" for "are sex and gender the same thing" and a link to a university webpage that clearly defined the two terms. He came back at me with a link describing how sex is determined (XX vs XY) that did not mention the word gender at all, and then said "There. I believe that settles this debate."

I'm going to have to start posting angsty gifs on tumblr is what I'm gonna have to do.

I bet it feels convenient to be able to use your first name as your username, I've only gotten away with it a small number of times on forums because of availability.
