Thanks, techguys. Can you elaborate on what the security issue was? Or is it too technical for a layman to understand?
We had an installation of Drupal on our (now old) server, and Drupal had this massive security flaw they rated as "25/25" on the "oh trout" scale. Apparently people could do pretty much anything with your site. So we decided that was bad. The good news is that the Drupal install didn't show up on Google and the only links to it were in the staff forum, so it's actually quite unlikely they hacked us, and we actually can't find any evidence that such a thing was done. Still, better safe than sorry with such a huge gaping security hole was sitting on your server for a week or so. We immediately deleted Drupal on the old server (or disabled the security hold, I forget which) and then planned the weekend move that turned into the fortnight move.
It's worth saying that this is probably the biggest clean-up we've done in EoFF's history, short of the early years when the entire database would get dropped. So... just know that we care about your data!

I like that your site suspiciously came back online in the same hour that ours went offline yesterday. I SEE WHAT YOU DID
Also, it's lovely to have you back on the internet.
