Do you like the original, w/ the cranberries swimming in the sauce, or the gelatinous blob, that comes out of the can in the shape of the can?

I love cranberries but I hate cranberry sauce.
I do feel like I should love cranberry sauce, but I just don't. I eat my turkey without out and just drowned in gravy instead. Yummmmm!
My family always had the jelly thing. What I love to do is take a biscuit, put some gravy-covered turkey on it, and a slice of cranberry sauce.![]()
To be honest though I'm just not a huge fan of sauces. I don't like garlic sauces, bbq sauces, mayo, mint sauce, apple sauce....

This year I made cranberry sauce, and it was much better than that vile canned rubbish. Lesson learned!
We never had cranberry sauce in my Thanksgivings growing up, I only had it for the first time ever as an adult. I like it spread very thinly on turkey sandwiches. I've only ever had the canned stuff.
Thug Kitchen's recipe for cranberry sauce is primo. I've made it for the 2nd time for Thanksgiving and it got eaten quick.
Pretty tart though no matter how much brown sugar you add though, so I'd suggest throwing in some white as well.
