    Default Best Holiday Leftovers.

I just ate a turkey sandwich and I am going to eat another turkey sandwich and then maybe some apple pie.

After you've slept off a big, hearty, holiday meal what leftovers keep you staring into the fridge for hours?

    Signature by rubah. I think.

Turkey, au gratin potatoes, baked beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, ham, snickers salad and banana cream pie. The freaking works.

You're a horrible person. Just looking at that picture is probably going to kill someone.

Dark turkey meat is the only acceptable leftover. Well, and pie. And maybe deviled eggs. Perhaps.

I love turkey sandwiches, often with some of the leftover veg stuffed in there too. Mmmmmmmm.

Obligatory "Day After" meals for us is "Turkey trout" ... aka creamed turkey.

Make a white gravy (with lots of salt & pepper obvs), shred some turkey meat, and stir it into the gravy.

To serve, you spoon it on over toast. It's amazing and yeah.
