If the game comes out in 2016/2017 will the PS3 still be supported?

I was watching the stream and when the FFVII logo came on screen...my god I thought it's ACTUALLY HAPPENING!
Very disappointing!

everything is wrapped in gray
i'm focusing on your image
can you hear me in the void?
i just sat there in disbelief for half the trailer
then started laughing towards the end when I realized that they were serious

OMFG!!!! I had a heart attack when I was watching this and then the crappy graphics just kept going and I realized it was the BS Steam version.
DAMN YOU SQUARE DAAAAAMMMN YOOOOUUUUU!!
They couldn't have made people angrier if the dude had walked on the stage, farted into the microphone, dropped it and walked off with his middle finger up.![]()
oh god every time
every time i want to believe
; ;
I don't see how SE could be so daft. It could be a reverse troll, but I don't see SE being that cool, either. So I'm going to settle somewhere in between, with the idea that this was maybe a way to further gauge fans' desire for a remake.
Gotta give the bastards credit, though. They keep doing this, and people keep buying. So I don't know who to blame more, SE or the fans.
Square Enix needs to bring in Atlus USA if they are going to troll their audience. No developer has topped the Catherine Troll.
The site makes a living reviewing Korean Dramas. 95% of each episode consists mostly of the following: -

So yeah! Final Fantasy VII is happening!
PS: I actually quite like Korean dramas. The problem with something that you love is that you tend to recognise all their flaws as well...
lol. Dat trolling.
But seriously I'm almost tempted to avoid buying future Square-Enix games when they pull stuff like this
"Now you can buy the exact same game (plus achievements) from 17 years ago, yet again! Yayyyy!"
