Default Woolseyisms, or the SNES era of Squaresoft

Didja play the SNES Squaresoft games when they came out? Didja didja?

Here is a thread to discuss them. Specifically, Final Fantasy VI (III, I mean), Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, Chrono Trigger, and Super Mario RPG...did I miss any?

I want a SNES for Christmas

Yes, all of them. You can get cheap knock-off SNES consoles on ebay or elsewhere on the internet. I have one because my SNES is dead and I've never been able to figure out what's wrong with it. The one I have will play both NES and SNES games so it's extra wonderful. Get yourself an SNES for Christmas. Be happy.

    :monster:

I've played nearly all of the games Square released in this era to completion. The only ones I played on an actual SNES were FFIV and FFVI, though.

Some damn good ones to play, though!

We never had a Super Nintendo, so no. I had to play the re-releases on the PlayStation.

Yes I did, and still do with some regularity. Easily one of the finest niches in gaming history.
