I hope you have enjoyed the Ciddies! As you can probably see, I tried to mix it up a little this year, both in terms of a visual style and the awards themselves. A lot of people didn't like the gender/appearance based awards so I scrapped them in favour of personality, and I thought it might be fun to have more pairing awards. I also tire of the "Best Admin, Best Knight, Best RM/FS" and so on awards that just take up space, so I condensed them down and instead expanded the Highwinds. I hope you remember these Ciddies as being a little bit different to the norm!

Thank you to all of the nominators and voters, thank you to all of those who took the time to write a speech (and more thanks - exponentially so! - for those who did more than one) and thanks to all those who spammed the thread with gifs and those who chilled out with me in Skype chat. An extra special thank you to Jinx for arranging, collating and posting the speeches - couldn't have done it without your help!

You wouldn't believe how much time this stuff takes! It was a fascinating and enjoyable experience and I'm glad that I was able to give something back to the community but blimey, not doing this again in the foreseeable future! I was going to say "Time to get my life back!" but I guess I had forgotten that EoFF will never give me my life back.

Thanks so much for your hard work to put this event on for the nerd lot of us, Awardchotic! It was a great time, I loved the gif and meme spamming, and I really enjoyed the change of awards (and aesthetics!) of the forums this year. A great time!

Everyone needs to hoard gifs for the coming months so we can make June 2015 the most memorable Ciddies of all.
