Food in Final Fantasy

...It doesn't get mentioned a lot, when you think about it. In the first game the HERB is the only time anything consumable is mentioned by anyone...hell, the game doesn't even tell you what potions are for. I guess the OXYALE too?

Come to think of it, food doesn't get mentioned much until Final Fantasy VI (the Phantom Train), and not again until Final Fantasy VIII (hot dogs) and IX (a table full of food is shown). I don't know much about the series after that.

So...which game in the series has the best food, is the question?

They mention food in VII. Quina in IX is a gourmand. There's also food referenced in X & XII.

But yeah, food doesn't get a lot of attention in this series. Outside of Quina, it's never a huge focus.

Zell's Bread, Walll Market Bar, Shinra going to a Banquet, Frog eating, enemy eating, Quina, Tidus getting food by Rikku, Kebap in Rabanastre, Lightning eating stuff and helping cooking as well as her mentioning Serah cooks better but she does the steaks, et cetera.
