We all know the original FF game is not as fleshed out as some of the later entries, but do you like it anyway? Is it just kind of there for you? Did you hate it?
It's amazing for its time but any 27 year old video game is going to be showing signs of age.
No, I'm not keen. I only played the PSP version, but it's soooo dated. And there's not even much plot to carry you through compared to a modern title. It does nothing at all that it's successors haven't done much, much better.
I respect it very much, but I don't enjoy it as a video game. If they ever fancied doing a proper remake though with some extra content added to create some interesting characters... I would be up for that.
I like it a lot, not top five material but a solid game overall, especially after I finished a run through with the original NES version that is brutally more difficult than the remakes have been.
True beauty exists in things that last only for a moment.
Current Mood: And it's been a long December and there's reason to believe. Maybe this year will be better than the last. I can't remember all the times I tried to tell myself. To hold on to these moments as they pass...
The NES version is one of my top three in the franchise.
I enjoyed playing it.
I like it a lot.
I just hate the Eflheim Grind. I also wish magic was more useful and that they gave you more than a few spell charges for such gigantic dungeons. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.
