There are possibly hundreds or maybe even thousands of variations of Tolkien's books. What do yours look like?

My poor sad Fellowship of the Ring copy I got for Christmas when I was eight or nine (I do not remember which exactly) from my grandmother. It has been through many moves, has been bent in a thousand ways and suffers from water damage, but I can't bear to part with it.

This is a 50th anniversary edition of The Hobbit I found at a thrift store. The outside cover is a bit beat up, but other than that, it's perfect. The book itself is a shiny, beautiful hardcover, and was illustrated by the author. I have no guess as to why anyone would ever discard such a thing.

Once upon a time I had a a couple of matching sets of Lord of the Rings, but they have been long lost or given away. I've been eyeballing this set specifically because oh my god ;-;
