I think it's dumb and fun. And I don't expect much out of the day but any excuse for celebrating and eating candy and having pretty flowers is neat. That being said, I don't put much stock into it as a married woman in a loving relationship. If I were alone and single, I may not have the luxury of being nonchalant about it. If I were single, I might loathe it with a fierce passion. Who knows. I would hope that if I were single, I would celebrate Galentines Day instead as Almighty Leslie Knope intended. In fact this year I sent out Valentines Day gift boxes to 20 of my friends filled with confetti and candy and ring pops and temporary heart tattoos. It was a fun thing to do to show my love and appreciation. But then again one of my love languages is Gifts so this kind of thing is fun for me.
