I do have to disagree, Alan Rickman was totally Snape.
No I have to agree with Jinx. I love Alan Rickman and I did enjoy many of his scenes in the films. He just wasn't Snape for me. There were many parts of the book where Snape would be incandescent with rage and shout at Harry with genuine hate and contempt. Alan Rickman plays him so... dead in the films. He's so monotone and lifeless which I think worked for some scenes but to do it all the way through... it just didn't work for me.

Abso-smurfing-lutely. Why would you hire someone who openly says that they've never read any of the Harry Potter books. I mean, how the hell are you supposed to know how to play him? Richard Harris was perfect for me.

    I have a few others...

Winona Ryder in Alien Resurrection - I mean, what the hell is she doing there?

Brad Pitt as Hercules in Troy - He didn't play it well. I think the role should have gone to someone lesser known

Colin Farrell in Alexander - It may have been mainly the wig, but he was still terrible

Keira Knightly in Domino - A bounty hunter? Keira Knightly? Nope, not in a million years

Finally, one that cuts close to the bone for every English man. Kevin smurfing Costner as Robin Hood. The thing is, it's a really good Robin Hood film. I still enjoy it but... WHY??!! I'd rather he made an effort and did it badly than have a Californian Robin Hood. Oh yeah, Christian Slater as well. God damn Hollywood.
