All I'm sayin' is that people say that it's because he hasn't read HP that his portrayal was poor, and that it is a complete atrocity that they even hired someone who hasn't read the books.

I ain't defending Gambon, I just don't like dumb double standards. :} It was a poor portrayal, that's it. Nothing to do with anything else.
