I might be biased or looking at this wrong because I've never seen whatever anime that top one is but it looks pretty good to me. Give her purple hair and some contacts and she's good to go
Anyways, actors I can no longer take seriously in any role other than the one I've personally type-cast them as:
Chris Pratt (once Star-Lord, forever Star-Lord)
The entire cast of Arrested Development, especially Will Arnett. He will always be Gob to me.

It doesn't hurt that her character in Better Off Ted is basically what Lindsay would be like as CEO. Her character in Scandal is basically just a meaner and somewhat more competent Lindsay too.
That was the only good choice they made when making that movie. Sure, he's nothing like the M. Bison in the games, buy watching him ham it up is the only enjoyable thing in the movie for me.
And can we at least wait until the Ghost in the Shell movie comes out before piling on a Scarlett hate train? I have a hard time taking pre-judging casting decisions seriously ever since Heath Ledger's Joker told us all we could smurf right off.
Yeah man, Raul Julia was the best possible Bison for that movie, that's just how it is. Whoever played Ken was way worse.
He was a terrible choice for Bison, and Raul Julia knew it. Still better than casting Neal McDonough in the role.
On second thought, I'm changing my choice to Neal McDonough.

it may be a great movie once it's done
but kusanagi was always a japanese character from my understanding of Ghost in the Shell

Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen. Come at me, EoFF.
I have no problem with Keanu Reeves. However, he was incredibly miscast for this role.
Oh, another one I'm sure to get hate for: Alan Rickman as Snape. I love Alan Rickman and think he's an amazing actor. I didn't think his performance as Snape was bad, he just ~wasn't~ Snape. He played him a little too flat for my taste, where book Snape is super sardonic and openly cruel.
Same for Gary Oldman as Sirius. Has nothing to do with the talent of the actor, but the actor not fitting the role.
I think for me it's just that they're both like 20-30+ years older than their book counterparts, and it's really weird and jarring.
