My dad must be upset now. he said the other day the the Super Bowl would be Packers vs Patriots because thats what the mob wants.

Real talk right now, that was some straight up bulltrout though. The Seahawks have no business being in the superbowl after that stinker of a game against an injured QB (granted, Aaron Rodgers injured is still better than 80% of the QB's in the league).

Catan's not all that nerdy any more, anyway. It's gone mainstream. If they'd played Lords of Waterdeep, or Legendary Encounters, or Europa Universalis the boardgame or something along those lines I'd give 'em a little credit. Maybe.

True enough. It's actually not so much the team as Mike McCarthy that I dislike. And perhaps this is only because I loved the other Mike, Mr. Holmgren.

It is. The rulebook for EU is the War & Peace of the boardgame universe. 72 pages of superior grognardia.

I can't get my nerdgame friends to play Advanced Squad Leader, so yeah, that's upper tier elite nerdgame territory.
