In the original version, these chapters were all DLC that essentially were exactly the same. The For the Sequel remake of the game changed them up a little, and the Western release version actually changes them further still.
I feel much the same, now that I've played through a big chunk of chapter 7. After the massive slogfest that was chapter 6, it feels good to be drawn back in the game. I'm glad it wasn't more of chapter 6, as I feared. >.<
