    Default FFVII: The NES Version

Has anyone here played the NES rom hack of Final Fantasy VII? What did you guys think of it?

They definitely got the difficulty part down. I found myself having trouble with just the regular Shinra troops you meet at the Mako Reactor. They were just a bunch of pushovers in the original game. Anyone who took issue with the easy difficulty on FFVII might enjoy this one a little better, but I can't say. I didn't get too far into the game because I couldn't read Japanese.

    There is an English version.

Go to romhacking.net and search for "Advent Children."

I've got the English translation. I only played a bit of the beginning. There's lots of enemies that don't appear in VII, that are quite difficult.

Also, I think the hack's original language is Chinese, not Japanese.

It would really be nice if someone did a playable difficulty version. The monsters just have too much HP.

Lugia2009 is the RHDN user who knows how!

If there was a really good version that everybody agreed on, I'd definitely play it. That sounds wicked.

I have played the beginning of it. It was cool, but I'll still prefer the PlayStation version any day. I'm also pretty sure that someone gave it an easy patch too. It makes it more tolerable.
