I actually did try to make it a top 100 but then I realized I was throwing games on that I didn't like enough to want to include which kind of defeats the purpose of making a list of my top games so I said screw it and ended up with 97. Doesn't hurt anybody and I'm happier with it this way

FYI the basic requirement for a game to make this list is that I liked it enough to want to replay it

Plus, this way, we can fill out Pumpkin's Top 100 with our own awesome game suggestions.
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.

One of the funniest experiences i ever had with just cause 2 (an open world game kind of like gta, at least with regards to this story) was when a friend in college refused to break the law while he was playing. We already stole the car for him. He was going at a moderate pace in his lane, stopping at stop signs, etc. At some point there was a fire truck which we kept begging him to steal, but he'd keep responding with "I don't have the qualifications to drive that thing." eventually he hit a loop and he was very frustrated that he couldn't leave it because he didn't have a turn signal. In the end he accidentally ran over a guy and refused to play the game again.

You should have told him to hold out his arm. Hand signals are perfectly acceptable, legally, in a car which lacks light signals.

I think someone did point that out, and his point was that his character couldn't do that, so it wasn't something other drivers could see. It's one of those you had to be there moments to understand why it's so funny (mainly, you'd need to understand the personality of the person). Or at least just being able to hear his reactions. The whole point is that following the rules of the road in these games can still make for a humorous thing to watch!

    And that friend was me.

Not really, but I could see myself doing that if I got to the game when I was younger.

Nah, I would have killed everyone and banged whores.

I have a weird history with GTA but like Pumpkin, I never cared for the story and simply screwed around town, often making up my own stores. I only own GTA: Vice City because the 80s were an awesome decade. Someday I'll get back to story mode.

Family Feud is an interesting and ballsy choice especially placing it higher than gaming darling GTA. Bold move Pumpkin.

I'd place GTA2 over any of the later entries, and I'm not actually sure it would make my list.

Thinking about it, there aren't many games better than GTA for how Pumpkin likes to play. I was thinking she should try Need For Speed or some other game which has a greater focus on driving, but most of those are built for cruising and racing, and you lose the busy city atmosphere and traffic laws.

I'd say Saint's Row IV is superior, though. If only because you can listen to Zinyak read Pride and Prejudice while driving around (which I have done plenty of times).

From what I remember the Transformers game was pretty good for just driving around normally disguised like a car. Then eventually I got bored, turned into a machine and brought the military down on my ass. Fun times.

I used to work 12 hour shifts in an area that didn't have much going on, and I worked nights. So to stay on schedule over my weekends I played a lot of video games. Also working out and books, but video games.

I played so much of the first GTA on the PS2 that it became a compulsion. I'd fire up the game, and spend 2 hours mindlessly causing chaos around the city. No missions, just chaos.

So at one point I walked out of my apartment (IRL) to go somewhere, and saw an ambulance sitting in the parking lot. I naturally took a few steps towards the ambulance because I was so used to stealing them before I reminded myself I wasn't in the game. My brain just saw the ambulance and said, "Welp! There's my ride!"

I decided it was probably time I take a break from GTA for a while.

I genuinely remember playing GTA games for a bit, playing it like a good, honest citizen. It didn't last long.

For your reading pleasure, Pumpkin, someone actually wrote a 'Pacifist Niko' guide for GTA IV.

    Seems pretty difficult.
