sharky and I have had the discussion of a lot of games not having the same impact on me or even people younger than me. Tekken 2 was my first game and OoT was my second, so I didn't really grow up with 2D games from the earlier generations. I've played them now and I even played them when I was younger, but it wasn't as huge of an impact for me going from 2D to 3D because well... I started with 3D, you know?

Same with CT as will be on my list later. At the time it was a hugely influential RPG, but I'd played it after like 100 others so while I still think it's a great game, it'll never hold the same impact with me as it did with those who played it when it was new. Part of life I guess. Doesn't mean I can't appreciate these games though, just in a different way I suppose
