71. Animal Crossing
71. Animal Crossing: New Leaf (Nintendo 3DS)

In Animal Crossing New Leaf, the player somehow accidentally becomes the mayor of a town they just moved too. There, they build a house, make friends with the villagers, and do mayorly things like build park benches for large sums of money.
Animal Crossing is interesting in that it takes place in real time. So if you make an appointment to meet one of your video game neighbours at 7 PM on Monday, you actually need to pick up your game at 7 PM on Monday. Basically you go around doing stuff like fishing, digging up treasure, catching bugs, dressing your character, and my favourite, decorating your room. You can also get house expansions and customize the town to a certain degree. Random animal people will move in or out of your town as well, and you can try to make friends with them.
Overall this is a really fun game for relaxing and unwinding. I love the personalization of your character and house, even getting to decide where your house is. The main downfall of it is that you get penalized if you just aren't in the mood to play for a while and I always get dejected and just have to start all over, making it so I never make too much progress in the game. But a fun game nonetheless.
