I realize this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I have to agree. Capcom fighting games look flashy and are particularly impressive in the hands of some of the better known players on the competitive circuit, but they just don't seem capable of carrying the weight a Final Fantasy mash-up would require (not that I think the series is really deep, but Capcom's fighting plots seem pretty mindless by comparison). So, as a mindless fanservice romp? Sure. As something that will really stand out? Probably not.Originally Posted by metagloria
