Crisis Core is clearly my favorite spinoff. I really enjoyed this game and Zack is one of my favorite character.

Crisis Core, TA or XIII-2... blimey, such different games but all so fun. Really tricky question, Pike! I think if I had played more of TA it's be a shoe-in, but because I haven't, XIII-2 will probably win out.

Tactics. Best story in a game and very fun once you get the hang of it.

Tactics is my favorite. I also like the TA games as well but I wish they made a more 'serious' Tactics sequel. Or really any more Tactics games. I love that subgenre.
