Just wondering...what didn't you like about Yuna, BoB?

I don't like anything about her, really. I dislike her voice, I dislike how she's so timid and meek, I dislike how she does things for political reasons, I dislike how she had relationships with the two most annoying characters in the entire game, I just find her generally annoying. Tidus, Seymour and Yuna have almost always been the least enjoyable characters for me in FF history, although some others come close. I like most of the other FFX characters, though, so it's not some anti-FFX agenda on par with the anti-FFXIII agenda that is notably apparent in this thread. I'd perhaps have gone for Terra before I'd gone for Yuna but Terra would be a lost cause, she's almost at 30 already. After those four, I'm really going to have to start just chipping away at people I feel have little to no character at all, because I like most other characters in the series.

I think their voices killed it for me. Yuna might not have fared better with a different voice, though, as I've seen characters similar to her (Terra) and I disliked them as well... although it's really tough to compare characters throughout different games and credit where it's due, Yuna didn't run away and try to hide from being a heroine like Terra did.

Yuna's voice in X was definitely odd and sounded rather "breathy" (I think it was a tad better in X-2). Personally I think another similar character to her and Terra is Ashe whom I felt did the whole internal struggle thing better and I found her more relatable over all. She showed a vulnerable side when called for but was also strong and resolute if needed.
