    Dancing Chocobo Maintaining Weight

So thanks in no small part to MyFitnessPal I've lost like 15 pounds in the past few months and now I'm at my goal weight. The problem is that, because I've gotten comfortable eating a few hundred calories short of what I need and feeling satiated that way, I'm still losing weight Not that I'm in danger of wasting away or anything, but my pants are already getting too big for me and I'd prefer to not have to go out and buy a new wardrobe.

What should I be adding to my diet to maintain my weight? I'm assuming protein? What types of snacks can I eat throughout the day? I'd prefer nothing with too much sugar, even "healthy" sugar (for example fruits) - too much sugar in one day makes my IBS flare up.

Nuts are good for protein. I stopped snacking on bad food and have nuts instead. Unsalted are best and you can get them in bulk and mix them up.

Theyre not exciting but they are good for adding some protein and avoiding bad food when you're hungry!

Protein and fibre heavy foods will make you feel fuller. However if you suffer with IBS, then I would caution you on the amount of fibre you intake. Nuts seem to be hailed as a good idea, but only if you have like...5 of them? And to this day, i've never seen a person grab a bag of nuts and only eat 5. =P

Best healthy snack low carb chips with hummus, or celery and baby carrots with hummus.

The only time I am satisfied after having something with Hummas is when I have ate a dangerously unhealthy amount of it :P

That's why you portion your 3 meals a day better so that your snack doesn't end up becoming your dinner.

i think mfp has a maintain option? If not you could try calorie count. The last time I used it the mobile app was buggy as hell and terrible, but the website is a really good resource for diet structure and does have a way for you to find your daily target caloric intake for maintenance.

    Signature by rubah. I think.
