It's almost like they gave up on the floor with the cells, at least the first time. It didn't look very HD.
ERMAGERD, I'm a huge fan of blood. I was there when it was just plasma and that one hemoglobin. Oh, time sure goes fast. Next one will surely be a treat.
A veritable river of blood and our cells mysteriously open? Why, let's arbitrarily split up! Barret stays behind to "clean up" (what is he even) and Red XIII scouts on ahead so we're left to wade through the crimson tides. It would seem Shinra has a new sheriff, with young Rufus Shinra taking the wheel and he's thrilled to meet us. And then a non stop boss battle train to the face with Hundred Gunner, Heli-Gunner and Rufus (Gunner?) himself all lining up to be knocked right back down again!
I tend to forget just how dark & "mature" this game is. Square really took a definitive turn when they made this game & it seemed to be the perfect time. I think a lot of people (like myself) who followed FF from the beginning were probably in their teenage years @ that point & it was the perfect game for their maturing sensibilities.
Yeah, I think that element of it has actually been lost in the later games. Though you wouldn't get away with trail of blood not being rated 18 now I suspect!
Mr Barret has a reputation to protect, don't you know? Like a scene from COPS, the gang piles into a battered old truck and makes a bid for freedom down the highway, the Shinra Corp's finest in hot pursuit. Cloud takes it upon himself to steer a motorbike while flailing a gigantic buster sword all about with a complete disregard for the Highway Code. And then to top it all off, Motorball awaits at the end. Will we ever make it to Kalm?

Yeah, she is pretty terrible.
Tifa's stats are almost as bad as Psy's biking game skills. (oh no he didn'! *snap snap*)
Seriously though, I've never used Tifa if I could avoid it. Useless in melee, useless in magic... why does she exist again?

You can use "Arrange" to not only switch Materia betwixt your characters (even the ones not currently in your party), but you can arrange them on the list.
