I have 2 middle names, named after both my maternal and paternal grandparents, I love my middle names Ronald William, but I didn't used to as a kid, but this was mainly due to the fact that people wound my up by calling me Pauline or some such name, and I was certain if they knew one of my middle names was William they would call me willy or something equally degrading to my childish mind, so I just didn't bother telling others.
