Blizzard Announces New Overwatch Character and Wins My Heart
When we talk about the lack of body diversity for females in video games, my go-to example has been Overwatch. Look at this picture:
The diversity in the male cast is... a lot. The females, though, all have the same figure: young, thin yet curvy, very busty.
Blizzard hear people's complaints, and what did they do? Made a new character: Zarya.
(There's also a new male: McCree.)
So often when people talk about wanting more diversity in games, people get upset about "but it's fantasy therefore having all the women be young and busty isn't sexist" and "suggesting that you would like to see the genders treated equally is censoring the creatives" or even "make your own games; you can't possibly be critical of things you don't make yourself," and this development is no exception, but I think most people are happy.
