Well maybe ya'll should stop using the metric system! but seriously, how do you guys pay more!? is it taxed to all living hell?

Because we sell all of the oil we get in Alberta to you guys. Plus some taxes, but your gas prices are fairly anomalous for any nation that's not a member of the UAE. The price difference is fairly substantial anytime I've checked.

huh. interesting. I knew we had substantially lower prices than say Europe but I just assumed (we all know hat happens when you do that!) that Canada would be in line with the US or right around the same.

Sadly no. Well, I say sadly, but only because I am poor and don't want to pay so much. But in principal I feel gasoline and oil should be a lot more expensive than they are even here.
