I've found that if you are using the original Japanese audio track, the inter-mission voice overs and text is really hard to keep up with, to the point that you end up dying whilst trying to read your next objective for the misson. Not that you really have to listen, since most missions seem to just be straight lining it to the stage boss.

The Moogles haven't particulalry annoyed me, I find I just tune out from them, I guess? I've always been mostly indifferent to Moogles though. I found them cute in the Mog game at the Gold Saucer though.
