Steam HD mods as seen in EOFF lets play

I would like to know all about the HD mods used in eyes on final fantasies lets play HD for steam, as shown here


What all is needed for it? and do you have to use that bootstrapper client like in other hd mods that totaly seperates ff7 from steam?

I found where to get the hd mods, but I still need to know if cloud saves and steam achievements will still work after installing the mods?
