I have to say, I'm quite shocked

Garnet is my favorite. I kidnapped her and it was love at first sight.
Freya, she had a more touching story and was a nice party member. Probably one of the best Dragoons to emerge from the franchise since Kain Highwind if you ask me. Beatrix is nice too but lacks strong context for her being which Freya happens to have plenty on hand.
Quina is an "it" as far as I'm concerned, Garnet is irritating and Eiko should irritate me but pulls a Relm/Selphie and keeps herself scarce in the story to not feel too annoying.

Freya, for me at least, lacked enough story. I know she had that dude she longed to catch up with but I never really felt a connection with her overall, she felt very 'apart' from the other characters. Eiko was annoying for me. Not amazingly so, but annoying enough. Quina I don't consider to be female (or male). Garnet wins!
Beatrix is a good shout though, and would make more interesting competition for Garnet.

Freya of course is my favor party character but beatrix is my fav npc (besides the little stint of being part of the party)
Garnet is my favorite one.
