I vary rarely get them but I'd say I'm a combination of picker and popper! Mainly the first one though.

Leave it alone and vigorously wash face/exfoliate/apply mud mask/dot toothpaste or rubbing alcohol on it (it works). Picking and popping leads to scars. And pain.
If there is a head on it I'll pop it and then give my face a good wash. I do love popping spots though it's so satisfying to see it come out lol.
Although, yeah, picking and scratching is not great. I've been really pimple-y lately and I'm sure that me scratching them is just making it worse and look worse and make me get more.... Yick! Clear skin plz!
Pop when ready and then immediately put a plaster (band aid if you're a rotten colonial sort from across the pond) on it.
Why don't you all just stop being so dirty and you won't get any.

Scarring/dark marks on my skin happen easily so I avoid picking and popping pimples. The dark marks take forever to fade.
Even with Voldemort gone, I don't think your dark mark will ever fully fade. Let it serve as a reminder of the poor choice you made when the hour was darkest...

I will pop it if it's especially unsightly or prominent and then clean it and leave it alone.
I usually get one of these and just use them to swipe away the pimple and then go into the shower and clean my face.
It works
They actually do a tons time better job of cleaning away pimples than they do cleaning ears.
