It takes me about thirty seconds to walk to work. In the old country, getting to work meant an hour-long train ride (with a half hour walk to the station) or an hour and a half on the bus.

For the past few years, and the next four days, it is maybe five minutes at most. Starting next week it shall be around 30-45 depending on traffic.
Under thirty minutes. I do take an expressway, but not for long. There is rarely an issue with the route I take.
It used to be a twenty minute walk to the train station and then a 50 minute train ride (followed by a five minute walk to the office) but after doing that for a couple of years it became such an unbearable slog that I moved to a roughly 13 minute walk from the office. Getting up at 8:30am is definitely worth it and something I thoroughly recommend.

I voted bed to couch cause I work from my basement now. It's smurfing sweet.
It takes 15 minutes for me to walk. I used to drive, but now I don't have a car![]()
About 15 to 30 minutes depending on traffic (though if traffic is really light I can do it in as little as 10 minutes). I've fortunately never had a longer work commute than this.
I believe if I were to end up working somewhere that took longer than half an hour to drive to I'd have to move I start freaking when my commute has taken more than 20 minutes. I can't imagine how people who have an hour or more commute handle it.
I like Kung-Fu.
It completely depends on how messed up the Beltway/ 295 is. Sometimes it's 25min, sometimes it's an hour and a half.
I walk to work/school. From school's it's literally two minutes since I live just off campus.
As for work? I have to walk fifteen minutes at 2AM through one of the most dangerous cities in the world.![]()
