Well, to me MOMO is okay for the type she represents. Really, Takahashi and Saga write great characters.
But it's still a type that annoys me![]()

Having never played the games, I just found MOMO to be a more compelling robot than Jr, who is somehow a child who uses guns, but is also a non-human.
I don't know, I just wanted MOMO to win that one![]()
Jr. is an adult in the body of a child because of SCIENCE!
Porom and Little Rain.
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.
He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.
Wow that was the most votes we've ever had, I think. Closes in about 2 hours.
In the meantime, here are your next brackets!
From Suikoden I:
VS
Hix is from the Warrior's village, although he's a bit more of a pacifist. But he goes to rescue his girlfriend when she's kidnapped by a vampire. Yes, this really happens. Afterwards he goes with her on his trial of manhood or whatever the ritual for the village is. In the second game he goes on to fall for his girlfriend's fake illness mission thing so he can once again prove his manhood. He is the Tenrou Star, also known as the Goal Star.
Viktor in the first game is part of the rebel army, and in the second game he is part of the rebel army. He's very strong, has a strong personality, and also a frenemies relationship with his back talking sword. He's always of some importance in the rebel army, but more of an action man and not as a leader. He packs quite a punch in battle and is a useful ally for much of the game. He is the Tenko Star, also known as the Lone Star.
And now from Tales of Hearts R:
VS
Kor is the protagonist of this story. He's a simple country boy being raised by his legendary and perverted grandfather, until tragedy befalls one day. He meets Kohaku and while trying to rescue her from an attack, her "heart" (or what is basically the heart in this game) is shattered and spread across the globe. Feeling responsible for what happens, Kor vows to get her shards back and restore her to her full self. He rushes in to action head first, he's rather naive, but he cares about everyone and accepts everyone and means the best.
Kohaku is the girl who's heart was shattered. Her and her brother often find themselves under attack, largely because of the woman Kohaku claims lives in her heart. Near the beginning of the game, her heart is broken in to pieces and scattered across the globe. Her emotions are restored to her one by one. When not heart-broken (literally), she's a very upbeat and bright person, although she has a bit of a temper.
Lots of male characters this time! 48 hours~
Heh, funny how there's a big guy named Viktor.
But no, I may like the big guy archetype, but I prefer the shy/sweet guy type more just because it's more rare, so I'm voting Hix.
And I'm voting Kohaku because I really love the Combat Medic trope![]()
Suikoden I: Hmm, they both have really strong connections to their swords. I'll go for the big bear Viktor, if only because it reminds me of Fynn's character.
Tales of Hearts R: I love adorkable characters generally so I'll go for Kor. Kohaku seems interesting but the whole 'my heart has shattered!' plot line sounds confusing.
I vote Viktor because of his Star Dragon Sword dynamic. Funny stuff.
I'll vote Kohaku just because. They both actually seem like good characters.
Viktor e Kohaku
btw Kohaku sounds like something Ryu would say in Street Fighter
Last round closes soon, but I'll put this one up for voting!
From Atelier Escha & Logy:
VS
Escha is one of the two protagonists of this game. She is an alchemist who uses the "old" style of alchemy, meaning with a cauldron instead of a machine. She grew up in a small, apple filled town and has joined the development team of the government office. She also helps investigate ruins and such pertaining to the Dusk which is the result of the slowly dying world.
Lucille is a doctor in training assigned to help the development team with her healing talents. She's pretty quiet and shy, but she's a hard worker. She is also sadly prone to mistakes. She works hard to fulfill her dream of practicing medicine, and she also collects figurines! She attacks by launching things from her giant basket, which is quite comical.
And from Final Fantasy XIII:
VS
This is a Final Fantasy forum so I assume most of you at least know stuff about this game, and I will keep it short.
Fang is working for the Sanctum military when we first see her for unknown reasons, and finds Snow after Snow learns to summon Shiva. She's pretty straightforward and probably the manliest character in FFXIII. She wants to complete her Focus so she can save Vanille.
Sazh is a father who gets stuck at the wrong places at the wrong time. He fights with some pistols, and has a chocobo chick living in his afro. He really loves his son and wants to take care of him and rescue him at all costs.
