Nanako is the little cousin of the main character. She's a very sweet girl who latches on to him and calls him "Big Bro". She's generally very lonely as her mother died and her father works long hours on the police force. But still she's very friendly and sociable and likes to support others.

Talim is called the Priestess of the Wind and relies on the winds to guide her in life and battle. She's a very kind hearted person and wants to do good. She uses tonfas and is very quick.
Xianghua is a girl with a complicated background and family history who was on a mission to destroy the evil sword of the game. She uses a sword and a lot of battle taunts.
And from Suikoden II:

Annalle is a shy and reserved girl who's parents were killed under mysterious circumstances. She was "adopted" by some musicians and joined them in order to become a traveling musician.
Viki is a series regular. She has a True Rune and can teleport your character, and has been seen traveling through time. She also teleports when she sneezes. She's kind of ditzy and air-headed.
