You proved your objective wrongness by picking Yukiko over Kanji
Escha, Squall, Georgia, Fubar, Kohaku
Whoa, can't believe it's already the final round before all series have been reduced to but one character. Feels like it went by in a flash ^^
Squall vs Balthier is turning out to be more difficult than I'd thought...
I'll go with Lionela, Squall, Sofia, Fubar and Kohaku.
Escha, Balthier, Georgia, Fubar, Pascal.
Right, who's up?
Right, this was a fairly difficult choice. On one hand, I've voted for Lionela several times before, and she is rather adorable with her cat puppets. However, I believe Escha to be a more wholesome and complete character, based on the descriptions. I've always found the alchemy element to be really interesting in these series.
From Atelier Series
Also, her story involves a slowly dying world, which seems incredibly dark for what looks like a fairly light game. So I'm going for Escha.
This isn't really a contest for me. Balthier is basically the lovable rogue. Deep down he has a heart of gold, and his interactions with Ashe serve to strengthen her character. For all his exhortations of himself being the 'leading man', he is more than happy to let other characters breathe. He is a great foil for other characters to bounce off of, something which is repeated in the sequel.
From Final Fantasy Series
As for Squall, I just found him slightly broody, to be honest. I kinda want to like him, but I can't help myself. I never warmed to him. Granted, he does improve the more the game goes on but, compared to Balthier, this is easy. So Balthier. I have to say, I'd be pretty disappointed if Balthier doesn't win this bracket!
Tough. I really like Georgia's kind, tomboyish nature, and she pulls off a green, brown nature-themed wardrobe really well. On the other hand, Sofia has this really interesting reverse speech that looks hilarious. Though, I do find her dress pretty frilly and lacy.
From Harvest Moon & Rune Factory Series
In the end, I'll go for Georgia. This was a tough one.
I think it is easier to connect to Millie than it is to Fubar the griffon. I have no doubt that Fubar is a great character, strong and kind, but I just click with Millie more, looking at the info sheets again.
From Suikoden Series
It's also interesting that Millie is not that plot relevant, which normally I dislike but it can sometimes work; it might give Millie room to be herself. I'm not sure how I can connect to a griffon who can't talk.
I keep saying 'gee, this is a tough choice', and this is no exception. I've already discussed how I like Pascal due to her occupation: smashing stereotypes with the tricks of her technician trade. She seems spunky, and friendly, and everything I like in people.
From Tales Of Series
With Kohaku, I do like how her character is revealed, one piece of heart at a time. She also seems to revel being in the front lines, as her description photo appears to suggest. She does have a temper though, apparently, and I'm not sure how sharp that temper may spike to.
In the end, my lingering doubts over how aggressive Kohaku might be means I'll go for Pascal. Both are worthy winners though to be honest.
Well, it's 50/50 so far, so she still stands a chance.
Squall is losing though. Figures. Everyone always goes for the sexy ones![]()
