Ruby and Pascal.
Sorry guys, I have a lot of stuff going on tonight so I'll be going on an earlier schedule today and the last round will close about an hour early! In the meantime, here are your next brackets!
First bracket is from Harvest Moon: A Tale of Two Towns:
VS
Both are potential bachelorettes!
Laney works with her rather femininefather at the cafe in Bluebell. She's always in a good mood and she loves baking. Her favourite gift is cherry pie, but she's overall easy to give gifts too because she likes a lot of flowers and things you can pick up for free. She does not like insects.
Georgia works at the animal shop in Bluebell and takes care of the horses. She loves animals and she has a bit of an accent that she's self-conscious about. Her favourite gift is fried rice, and she likes a lot of insects that you can catch and give to her for free. She doesn't like fish and hates roasted eggplant.
And from the Atelier series, we have Atelier Shallie:
VS
Homura is a homunculus treasure hunter, who is known to be very skilled. As he is a homunculus, he talks a bit in borken grammar like the rest of his people. He's very helpful and kind to those around him and never hesitates to lend a hand. He is a samurai of sorts in battle and can use numerous skills, including stat buffs and attacks.
Shallistera is one of the Shallie's and one of the main characters of the game. She is an alchemist and the daughter of her village chief. Her village is going through a drought, so she travels to the oasis town to find help for her people. She has never been to such a big town before and has some trouble socializing, but she starts taking responsibility for herself more and adjusting to what she needs to do. She uses a bell in battle and can synthesize items.

Also if you check the first post and see the brackets, we're coming along nicely![]()
Georgia and Homura! Looks like Carny and I have mind-synched of late![]()
Ugh, a combination of internet troubles and the RP have dragged me from this. Sorry Pumpkin!
Harvest Moon: A Tale of Two Towns: I like any girl who likes animals, and I also generally prefer tomboyish characters, for no particular reason. Georgia!
Atelier Shallie: Homura reminds me of Rocket Racoon from Guardians of the Galaxy for some reason, which is adorable. His gameplay seems interesting as well, so I shall go for Homura!
Quick question aout the Atelier games: they all seem to have an interconnected story. Can you tell me more about them? Alchemy is a recurring theme I'm noticing.
The 6 Atelier games I've played are separated in to two umm "series". Atelier Rorona, Totori, and Meruru are part of the Atelier Arland series and each take place a few years after the other with the protagonist of the previous game being the mentor/teacher for the current protagonist. Ayesha, Escha & Logy, and Shallie are all part of the Atelier Dusk series.
The games do center around alchemy and all (except for Shallie) are a combination of RPG and time management game of sorts. Shallie did take out the time limits and stuff though. The Arland series is generally more upbeat and follows each heroine's personal journey. Rorona is stuck taking care of her Master's Alchemy Atelier so it doesn't get shut down. Totori is serching for her missing mother, and Meruru is trying to expand her Kingdom so her father will let her become an alchemist.
The Dusk series is a bit darker and is actually about a world on the verge of death because of people abusing alchemy in times past. Ayesha is searching for her missing sister, Escha & Logy investigate some ruins from these times past, and the Shallie's (there are two, Shallistera as you see above and Shallotte) trying to find a cure for the drought spreading around the world.
In both games you use alchemy for items. You make your healing items this way, accessories, attack items, etc, as well as you'll usually have requests and such to fill using alchemy.
It does look very Japanese. By that I mean the character design is very anime.![]()
Laney & Shallistera
Laney and Homura.
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.
He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.
Next round!
From Dead or Alive 5:
VS
Keep in mind I've only played the 5th game in the series, so the story is mostly what I've found looking in to it, as opposed to knowing from playing all of the games. The descriptions will also be rather short as I'd prefer to focus more on what I did see of them, just so I can give more of a firsthand account.
Hitomi is half German, half Japanese. She trained in Karate under her father. She enters the fifth tournament to test her strength and prove herself and she ends up getting second place. She works very hard with her training and she's an overall friendly and supportive person that seems to get along with most people.
Kokoro is half Japanese and half American. She is the illegitimate daughter of the man who runs the organization that seems to be doing some very sketchy things. She's very feminine and soft spoken, but also seems a bit off and clueless.
And from Suikoden IV:
VS
Kika is a well-known pirate in the Island Nations. However, she is not necessarily the stereotypical view of a pirate (besides the drinking) and she's actually quite a wise woman who doesn't usually make rash decisions. She joins your party fairly early on, making her a useful ally to have. She represents the Tenko Star, also known as the Lone Star.
Flare is kind and intelligent, but if often embarrassed by her dad's gung-ho attitude, as she's a bit more reserved. But despite that, she'll never hesitate to help out when she's needed and does a good job at getting things done. While not the most gung-ho, she still has a lot of determination and drive. She represents the Tenkou Star, also known as the Clever Star
